18 club members and friends set out on a nice sunny day 29th July to walk to the site of the Civil War battlefield at Stow on the Wold, accompanied by Simon Marsh of the Battlefields Trust.
After a long leisurely walk we all repaired to the Golden Ball Inn in Lower Stow for a sandwich lunch. Nice to meet up with friends from other clubs and each other after such a long time under lockdown.
We were lucky as the next day it poured down!
