We are sad to report the “Passing to Higher Service” of Honorary Member Don McConnell, Paul Harris Fellow, Sapphire.

Don was a member of Warwick Rotary from 1970, he was an optometrist and owner of  McConnells in Swan Street.

Don served as our President in  1983-4, Club Secretary and District Governor 2006-07.

He had a great sense of humour and was supportive and encouraging. Don continued attending our meetings post-Covid and enjoyed staying in touch with his friends in the club. Our thoughts are with his wife Val, son Steve and daughter Claire.

The funeral will be held in Rugby on Monday October 28th.
