Youth Speaks
The Annual Rotary Youth Speaks competition will be held in St. Nicholas Church, Warwick, on Thursday, 7th February 2013. There are two sections - the Intermediate section which will start at 6pm and will include teams from Kingsley School - Leamington, Myton School - Warwick, Warwick School, and North Leamington School. We regret that due to adverse weather conditions, this year's event has been cancelled in the interest of safety. Theatre Trip to Spa Centre
The next outing for Senior Citizens to the theatre will be on the afternoon of Thursday 25th April 2013, when a party of residents from homes in Warwick will be taken to the Spa Centre, Leamington Spa, to see a performance of entertainment entitled 'Roll Out the Barrel'. If previous visits are anything to go by this should be an excellent outing.

Kids Out
Kids Out, the event where local schoolchildren are taken by the Rotary Club on a day trip to Drayton Manor Park, will this year be on 12th June. The club provide the coach and a packed lunch and all the rides at the park are free of charge. Local schools have been asked to submit the names of pupils most likely to benefit from such a day out, and teaching staff and parents will be supporting the trip.

This years Schools Concert will be held at St.Mary's Church Warwick at 6pm on Tuesday 25th June. Already 9 schools have applied to take part in this very popular event which attracts a large audience. Each school participating plays individually at different age levels and at the end of the evening all the schools combine to join in a grand finale. Over 260 local children will be taking part. Warwick Town Bonfire
Remember, remember the 2nd of November, gunpowder, treason, and plots...and Bonfires! Cllr Bob Dhillon, Mayor of Warwick, recently visited Newburgh Primary School on Friday to judge the Guys made by children from a mixed group years 1-6, and was told about Guy Fawkes’ plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament. Once again the Christmas Tree in Warwick Market Place during the festive season will be illuminated with Lights of Love.
