Club Lunchtime Meeting
Since last speaking to the club, David Phillips, a local accountant, has completed his 5ooth Marathon, and in the process has raised over £125,000 for the Brain & Spine Foundation. But having reached his target he just can't stop, and in still participating most weekends, although he confesses that many of them are now half-marathons and run at a lot slower pace! He will talk about his experiences and his favoured charity. Host - Richard Ashley

Club Lunchtime Meeting
Today will be the Scholars Lunch, the occasion when senior representatives from local schools, together with teachers, visit the club for an exchange of ideas on the work of Rotary in the community and to hear from them how more can be done to help them in their objectives in preparing for life after leaving school. The meeting is organised by the club's Youth Committee.

This concert, jointly promoted by Warwick Rotary Club and Warwick Avon Rotary Club, will take place in St Nicholas' Church, Warwick at 7pm. The 70 Strong Alcester Male Voice Choir will perform Songs from the Shows, Last Night of the Proms, well-known Classics & Hymns, Popular Songs, and Sports Anthems. For some of us this will bring back poignant memories, while for many who are too young to recall this horrific night, Mike's talk will shed light on many personal stories, including the destruction of Coventry Cathedral.
