Today's Meeting is the one where the club presents a Meritorious Award to a person from the town who is worthy of being honoured for their contribution to the local community. This year the award is being presented to Margaret Kite BEM for her outstanding work in collecting money for Myton Hospice in all weathers for many years. Phil Godfrey will talk to the club about Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS). Sometimes known as Hughes syndrome, it is a disorder of the immune system that causes an increased risk of blood clots.
