Youth Speaks Competition 2017

For the first time this year’s Youth Speaks competition first round will move to a new venue and will be held at the attractive Chase Meadow Community Centre.
Warwick Rotary Club have been organising this prestigious event for many years and during this time it has produced some wonderfully talented youngsters, many of whom have gone on to use the experience gained in much greater conglomerations and surroundings.
All local schools have been invited to enter teams at Intermediate and Senior level, including previous winners from Aylesford, Kings High School, Kingsley, Myton. Princethorpe and Warwick and among the many spectators attending will be the Mayor of Warwick, Councillor Christine Cross, and the Rotary District Governor of District 1060, Peter Roberts.
The teams will speak on a variety of subjects from the very serious to the light-hearted and even highly controversial, and experience has shown it to be a most informative and entertaining evening.
Proceedings commence at 5.30pm and admissi0n is free. Light refreshments will be provided during the evening for competitors and spectators and everyone is welcome.
