Warwick Town Bonfire
Organisers are finalising arrangements for Warwick Town Bonfire’s move to the racecourse this year on Saturday 4th November and are working closely with Warwick Racecourse to make sure this year’s show is better than ever.
Gates open at 5pm and car parking is free. All the regular features will be there, plus:
Viewing from the covered racecourse stands, important if the weather is unkind, providing a great view of the fireworks and bonfire on the common.
More fireworks giving an even better show. There will be two parts: a short children’s display at 6pm, so please arrive early, then the bonfire will be lit at 6.30 followed by the main firework display set to music.
The Scudamore Bar will be open.
A steel band will provide entertainment.
Improved sound from racecourse PA system
Children’s play area and light stick sales at Bread & Meat Close entrance,
Additional hot food and drink outlets.
Lions mulled wine stall
Tickets are on sale from the racecourse – visit their web site and can also be purchased in Warwick from Torrys in West Street; the main Post Office; Claridges; Cabin News; Mellors; Warwick vacuum shop; plus the Tourist Information Centres in Warwick and Leamington; as well as Woodloes Post Office; and The Larder Box Cafe at Chase Meadows
It is worth buying early as advance tickets cost £6 for adults and children over 14. Between age 3 and 14 the charge is £1, and below 3yrs entry is free. On the gate there is an increase to £8 and £2 respectively.
Organisers Warwick Lions and Warwick Rotary are grateful for sponsorship from Leycester House Care Home, Baxi Heating and Bovis Homes, as well as pallets for the bonfire from Uniparts Logistics. Last year over £26,000 was raised for local charities and good causes. For further info please visit https://www.warwicktownbonfire.org.uk
