Warwick Mayor Cllr Christine Cross invites residents of Warwick to join her this Sunday, December 11th, in Warwick Market Square where a service of dedication will be held for the Lights of Love on the town Christmas tree.
A short carol service will be held at 4pm in the square, accompanied by Warwick Community Band and children from Newburgh School. The service will be led by the Vicar of St Mary’s, Rev Vaughan Roberts and the Mayor will be accompanied by John Taylor, President of the Rotary Club of Warwick.
The Christmas tree donated by Barns Close Nursery is now covered with cards donated by people remembering loved ones and will be left up until Jan 6th.
If you would like to place a card on the tree please complete a form and return to the Tourist Office, Claridges or the Post Office in Warwick. You can download a form here.
Proceeds will be shared between the Mayor’s charities and Myton Hospice. Names of those remembered on the tree are shown next to the tree, and on the Rotary website www.warwickrotary.org.uk.
